We finally got down to the Nissan showroom in Ginza to see the Dualis Powered Suit, and (as you you can see) it’s pretty darn cool.
According to Danny Choo, the Powered Suit was designed by Shoji Kawamori, creator of characters for the anime series’ Macross, Ghost in the Shell, Eureka Seven, Aquarion and Patlabor. Basically, it’s what the real Dualis would look like on Transformer steroids, and with really cool detail. More pics after the jump…

Now, if we can get all of the car makers to anime-up their cars, we can see what happens when a Prius battles a Pino. Fight!

So, what is it?
Just a cool-looking suit, or something you can actually climb in and use?
I mean, it has wheels, so why not “drive” to work or school with it if it works =)

Movie!! I want to see a movie of how it works. Better yet I want to get in and try it out!
very cool – but like all suits of armor a good groin shot and your down – there is no way this can be used in a real battle – what is the runtime ? – this has to be a prop (x_x)
lol it looks like a lfo from Eureka seveN
To the LFO comment, the Dualis was designed by Kawamori Shōji. It should come as no surprise he was a (lead?) designer on Eureka seveN. And yes, it is just a prop. Way too advenced to be real, at least in this decade. I still want one though.
that prop is awsome i would totaly want that in my room
Thank you for even having the guts to do this. i think this ia the way the world needs to be thinking. The nostalgia is keeping the world depressed you guys made a great start into the future. Keep up the great work.
