Slime, as you are probably not aware, recently celebrated its 30th birthday. Which means those of you (us!) who grew up playing with the squishy stuff are all (mostly) grown up now. In honor of this momentous anniversary, Mega House is releasing a line of Adult Slime.
Note: By adult we just mean it is for grown-ups.

The slime, which rest-assured comes in a plastic capsule (though one with slightly more modern, sophisticated lines), is scented to appeal to adult sensitivities. Adult Slime comes in four varieties (¥1,029 each), hot, relax, love, and elegance, each with a scent to match the ascribed mood.
We can’t say for sure if slime was in fact a global phenomenon but it did have its moment in Japan as well. Capsules of the sticky green stuff were sold at vending machines at dagashiya, cheap sweet shops beloved by school kids of previous generations.
From stationery to candies we’ve seen no shortage of retro re-releases targeting the pre-digital Generation Xers who, at least as perceived by marketers, are nostalgic for those simpler times.
