Visitors to the dedicated mini site sign in to their Facebook account before they can go any further, then once connected the film begins with a mock up of the user’s Facebook wall with a post stating you have joined Staffservice to get a new job. The narrative moves on through mock posts to your Facebook as you start to gain more skills and it is interspersed with short movie snapshots in the first person format.

The movie shows you gain a temp job and how life gradually improves with you gaining skills which you are added to your Facebook profile. Attempting to extoll the virtues of temporary staff contracts the movie then moves on to have you go drinking with new friends and even find true love all through the new job. Interestingly the campaign also attempts to highlight the extra free time you would have to enjoy your new and improved lifestyle under a temp contract.

The campaign is a great piece of marketing from Staffservice appealing directly to its core market as those aged between 25-34 make up the larger majority of Facebook users in Japan, the same age bracket looking for a job out of college. The film is a nice way for the company to advertise how under temporary jobs it is possible to gain skills, have more free time and expand horizons in a way that will appeal to a young market.
