Gerhard Fasol on Yahoo Japan and Microsoft

Our good friend Gerhard Fasol, CEO of Eurotechnology Japan, gives some great insight on CNBC into possible complications in Japan if Microsoft is to buy Yahoo. Yahoo Japan is in fact separate from Yahoo Inc. to the point that even their respective messengers don’t play nice with each other. With Yahoo Japan being the leading search engine in Japan at a 3-1 ratio to Google (and with a higher profit ratio than Yahoo Inc.) we could be looking at some interesting scenarios as the bid moves forward.
