The latest Bandai product getting buzz can best be described as Tamagotchi meets Cosmo (as in the women’s magazine full of “how to please a man” tips). To make the “Woman Test” Bandai surveyed 1,000 male bachelors about what they like in women (from attitude to fashion) and input this data into a liquid crystal handheld game. Users can test their knowledge and and find out their “MoteQ“, or how attractive they are to men.

An old fashioned way of thinking perhaps, but now in a modern animated form—and one that Bandai anticipates will look fun to 100,000 20 and 30-somethings by the end of the year (sales predictions from the press release). The game, which resembles a make-up compact, has four modes to help women understand the “male heart” and different kinds of men.

Woman Test goes on sale February 7th (countdown one week to Valentine’s Day) for ¥2,499.
