Today, NTT Docomo is releasing the new SH903i mobile phone with a nice-sized 2.8 inch (240×400 pixel) Aquos liquid crystal display from Sharp. KDDI originally used Sharp’s beautiful displays, and it has resulted in a major market push for them, especially for consumers who want to watch video. Docomo has followed their lead, as well as included a 3.2 megapixel camera that actually aids in phone security by scanning your face! With the GPS, and an updated “mobile wallet” with the DCMX iD credit card feature, you can never be lost and penniless. Napster, which has just joined the Japanese market, is also fully functional in the 903i series and can be used for unlimited music downloads with a monthly fee. This is the first release of the 903i series, with many more to come soon.
